Create and install your website icons
- Choose a PNG or JPG, set the framing and inspect the light/dark browser previews.
- Enter the site name, colors and the folder where you will upload the files.
- Create the package and download the ZIP. Extract it, upload its icon and manifest files, then follow README.txt and the installation links.
What is included?
The ZIP contains a 16/32/48-pixel ICO; 16, 32 and 96-pixel PNG favicons; a 180-pixel Apple touch icon; 192 and 512-pixel general manifest icons; a separate opaque 512-pixel maskable icon; site.webmanifest; favicon-links.html; and README.txt. The Apple and maskable icons use your background color. Maskable artwork receives additional safe-area padding.
Privacy and limitations
Images and website details stay in this browser. No account, upload, remote logo fetch or saved draft is required. PNG/JPG input is bounded to 10 MB, 12 million pixels and 16,384 pixels per side. The browser applies EXIF orientation; animation becomes a still image and metadata is not retained. Other input formats are not supported.
Changing artwork or website details hides the old package. Undo restores the previous source, framing, website details and package after edits or Clear. A valid generation or accepted replacement ends recovery. Rejected or cancelled replacement files keep your current source and completed package. Cancel and Clear discard obsolete work; native decoding/encoding may still finish in the background. Processing waits have 30-second deadlines. ZIP files use stored entries with integrity checks, so PNG files are not compressed a second time.
The package does not guarantee PWA installation, offline behavior, app-store acceptance or appearance in search. The generated manifest defaults to browser display and leaves app routing unspecified. Merge with an existing manifest when appropriate. ICO uses PNG-compressed images for modern readers. Test your real target devices and check the deployed URLs; caches can delay visible changes.
