Keep your face inside the circular preview
Move and zoom the photo while checking both square and circular views. The guide helps show what a circular display removes; it does not promise identical cropping on every platform. Leave some room around faces, hair and important details.
Square exports preserve the four corners. Transparent circle exports are PNG files with transparent corners; JPG cannot store transparency. The square file dimensions are the same for both choices. Check your upload destination’s requirements before choosing a shape or size.
Recoverable framing
Undo and Redo retain up to 20 framing/settings states. Center photo resets position and zoom and can be undone. A successfully loaded replacement starts a new history; a failed upload preserves the previous photo and settings. Clear photo releases it from memory and retains your export settings. Clear cannot restore the photo.
Privacy and quality
PNG/JPG inputs up to 10 MiB and 12 million pixels are processed in browser memory without uploads or automatic storage. Browser orientation is applied; animated PNG becomes a still frame. Output removes source metadata. Transparent areas inside the crop use your chosen background; only a circular PNG’s outside corners stay transparent.
Output is 256, 512, 1024 or 2048 pixels per side. Enlarging a small crop may look soft; the preview reports enlargement. Download size is measured after encoding. Native operations have a 30-second deadline; cancellation discards obsolete results even if decoding or encoding finishes later.
