Employer and role: 120 characters each; date/time note: 160; notes: 1,000 per task. Saved plans use this browser’s storage and are visible to others using the same browser profile. Nothing is uploaded. Checklist marks do not measure interview readiness or hiring chances.

A plan you can adapt

Choose your interview format, work through each phase and add tasks specific to the invitation. Mark completed tasks or exclude those that do not apply. Notes and custom tasks travel with your JSON backup; TXT and print show the currently selected format.

The starting prompts draw on CareerOneStop’s interview preparation guidance and virtual interview guidance. Follow the employer’s instructions and adapt the plan to your circumstances. It does not evaluate your answers or predict an interview outcome.

Saving and restoring

Nothing saves automatically. Save on this device uses local browser storage; it is not encrypted or synchronized and may be cleared by your browser. Download a JSON backup to restore the complete plan here. Loading or importing replaces the on-screen plan with one Undo step. Clear removes this tool’s saved copy and resets its current plan; Undo restores the on-screen plan without saving it again.

Imports are limited to a valid version-1 JSON plan, 256 KiB and 100,000 text characters. Invalid imports leave current entries unchanged. Editing the plan cancels a pending import. TXT and JSON preserve Unicode text. Print uses your browser’s layout and print settings; review its preview before saving as PDF. This tool does not create calendar events, send reminders or contact interviewers.
